Trio's band leader, Tomi Leino has achieved a reputation as one of the most talented blues musicians all around the world. Tomi has been fronting blues bands under his name since mid 80's. He recorded a handful of albums with his band and also with international blues artists like Steve Guyger, before starting Tomi Leino Trio in 2011. Tomi's well known to be capable to handle half of dozen instruments with high virtuosity, yet in the trio he concentrates on guitar and harmonica as well as vocals. He is living and running his Suprovox studio close to Helsinki, capital of Finland.

Jaska Prepula, living in mid Finland in town of Jyvaskyla, started to play bass in blues and rock&roll bands as a teenager. After more than 20 years of playing gigs and recording with various Finnish bands, he started his career as full time musician in 2009. Since then he has been spotted as a bass player with artists like RJ Mischo and Mark Hummel on dozens of tours and festivals all over Europe and as far as Brazil. Nowadays with Tomi Leino Trio he plays besides bass also swampy guitar parts when needed.

Drummer Mikko Peltola, also a Finn but living in Aalborg, Denmark, has played the blues for 25 years with both local and international artists. The past five years he has focused solely on music touring extensively in Europe, mostly as a member of Tomi Leino Trio. He has also toured with artists such as James Harman, Terry Hanck, and Aki Kumar, with whom he recently did a 6 weeks tour in India. Peltola's drumming can also be heard on recordings with Bobby Radcliff and West Weston to name a few.
